Living space: the interiors are in the traditional country finca-style with wooden doors and shutters, exposed stonework and original ceiling beams. Everything has been finished to a high standard throughout with fresh white-washed walls, beautifully tiled floors and comfortable, neutral cream furnishings. There’s a large and well equipped open plan country kitchen with a central island perfect for cooking up a storm with friends and family. The adjoining dining room has a wooden table with seating for up to eight guests. The living room has comfy cream sofas and armchairs and an open stone fireplace for cozying up in colder months and Satellite TV with the full Sky package.
Outside space: Can Lavanda is surrounded by beautiful Mediterranean gardens planted with lavender and agapanthus and there’s a citrus orchard where you’re welcome to pick the fresh oranges, lemons and mandarins when in season. To the rear of the house overlooking the pool the covered lounge area has rattan sofas, armchairs and a wooden coffee table. For alfresco dining there’s a family sized wooden dining table under the palm trees and a Weber barbecue. The swimming pool has a stone surround with parasols and 8 wooden sun loungers, perfect for soaking up the sun and taking in the countryside views. To the side of the pool is a lush lawn and pond where the local community of frogs will serenade you of an evening.
Parking: there’s plenty of space in the private driveway and covered parking for two cars.

Sleeping arrangements
This comfortable family home has four bedrooms and sleeps eight guests. All four bedrooms are on the first floor and offer plenty of space and natural light. There’s no air-conditioning but all bedrooms have Hunter ceiling fans and there’s a portable a/c unit available.
Master bedroom: with a king size bed, free standing wardrobes and a dressing table with beautiful views of the countryside and distant Tramuntana mountains. The spacious en-suite has a large walk-in shower, a free-standing bathtub and twin vanity units.
Bedroom 2: with a double bed and en-suite with walk-in shower.
Bedroom 3: with a double bed and shared bathroom with walk-in shower.
Bedroom 4: a twin bedroom with 2 generously sized single beds and shared bathroom with bedroom 3.
A cot is available on request.
Location
Can Lavanda is located on the outskirts of Santa Maria and it’s 5 minutes drive into town.
Beach in reach
Once on the motorway head north where you can choose from some of the best beaches on the island. The low key resort of Cala Sant Vicenç with its three small bays and crystal blue waters is ideal for families with small children and for snorkelling enthusiasts. The long golden stretch of Playa de Muro is where you’ll find Ponderosa Beach Club and plenty of water sports on offer. If you prefer your beaches on the wild side then Son Serra de Marina is not to be missed and horse riding through the sand dunes along this stunning stretch of coastline can be organised in advance through our concierge services.
The journey to Palma and the airport will take approximately 25 minutes.
